Fresh Cherry Pie

2 8 or 9 inch pie crusts

3 c fresh, pitted, cherries

1 to 1 1/2 c sugar

1/4 c flour

2 T butter

dash salt

 

 

1.  Line 8 or 9 inch pie tin with pastry

2.  combine cherries with sugar, flour, & salt

3.  put into pie shell

4.  dot with butter

5.  Put on lattice top.

6.  Bake at 400° between 50 & 55 minutes.
